This custom glass railing project, completed on a luxury waterfront residence in Beach Haven, New Jersey, was designed to maximize views while providing exceptional durability in one of the most demanding coastal environments on the Jersey Shore.

The railing system features 1/2″ tempered glass panels mounted with Duplex 2205 stainless steel spigots, one of the most corrosion-resistant stainless steel alloys available for marine applications. Duplex 2205 offers significantly greater strength and resistance to saltwater exposure than conventional stainless steel, making it an ideal choice for waterfront homes.

To complement the home’s architectural design, each spigot was professionally powder coated black, creating a clean, modern appearance while allowing the glass to remain the focal point of the installation. The minimal hardware design preserves unobstructed views of the surrounding waterways while maintaining the structural performance required for a coastal environment.

Careful field measurements and precision installation were essential to ensure consistent glass alignment throughout the multiple balcony and terrace areas.
